Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to play GOAT BAND. We build and test to WCAG 2.1 level AA, on a phone first and then on larger screens. Each change to the game is checked for keyboard use, screen-reader labels, colour contrast, text up to 200% and small screens before it ships.

What you can adjust in the game: sound on or off, and faster reveals. GOAT BAND also follows your device's "reduce motion" setting, and switches to a lighter animation mode by itself on slower devices.

Known limitations:

  • Generated songs have no captions or transcript of the music itself. Lyrics are shown as text on each song page.
  • Stripe's payment page is run by Stripe.
